Mingmag.com is a WordPress magazine site aimed at men ages 18-55 who want to learn skills they may not have picked up along the way just yet. It aims to teach healthy masculinity.
The site is a multi-author site with a tremendous amount of backend modification intended to make the job of wrangling cats easier for the editorial team. The layout aims to be as simple to follow as possible with a focus on the content both on the desktop and on mobile platforms.
It is a relatively high traffic site which uses a Content Delivery Network (CDN) to make some of the task of traffic management easier on the server. This approach also alleviates any potential downtime due to network outages or the occasional boneheaded error on the part of a server admin.
The content is the key. We merely helped them present it. We did the whole thing from the logo up and put it on a very capable theme framework. Let us know what you think.
